Lori Seeds, LCSW-S
I’m a therapist and parenting coach supporting children, teens and families in the Central Texas region. I am excited to introduce myself and to have the opportunity to join with you and/or your family on a therapeutic journey. I love connecting with individuals and families as a therapist and deeply believe in the power of human connection to create a place of healing and transformation.
Life struggles are something that we all endure from time to time. I believe that when we begin to unpack our pain, we are able to shift our mindset and beliefs to unlock the strength to manage challenging times. Therapy provides a safe and healthy relational experience for individuals and families to explore and adjust how we engage in the world around us.
My approach to therapy is tailored to your individual needs and therapeutic goals. I specialize in strengths-based, clients-centered and trauma informed approach in therapy. I work in collaboration with the client and the support system to achieve healing and growth. I have extensive experience working with relational conflict, emotional disturbance, depression, anxiety, attachment disruption, parenting support/coaching, and adjustment/transitional challenges.
I have over 20 years of therapeutic experience working with children, adolescents and families. I’ve worked with local agencies, schools, family courts and in private practice. I received my bachelor degree and masters degree for the University of Texas at Arlington.
At Seeds of Hope Clinical Services, hope is at the center of everything we do. We believe that no matter how difficult a person's situation may seem, there is always reason to hope for a better future. Through therapeutic support, we strive to instill hope in all those we work with. We know that with hope, anything is possible, and we are honored to be a part of our clients' journeys towards healing and growth.
Where struggles, disappointment and pain are finite, hope is infinite. Hope begs us to choose bravery, to look beyond what our eyes can see. Hope is a firm understanding of what’s been promised, an assurance that my past is forgiven, and a powerful and unwavering conviction that God’s word for us cannot be broken.
